Description:

Clan Line's 1960 Greenock built CLAN MACILWRAITH is seen berthed on L Shed in Avonmouth's Old Dock.

Later: 1979 GOLDEN CITY

During a voyage from Shanghai to Dubai, GOLDEN CITY suffered a fire in her holds on 17th July 1986 and was towed into Singapore Roads by the tugs SALVANA and SALVENUS due to engine trouble. Her cargo was discharged at Singapore and she was eventually sent to Jurong for breaking where she arrived on 21st October 1987.
