To add to the request for information about this old tug by DDGHANSA, I took this photo of her at Poole on 4.11.1991, after she had got herself in the national press. In a report about a nationwide storm in the Daily Mail on 1.11.1991, headlined 'Howling Halloween', it states that "The lifeboat and a tug from Poole battled through Force Nine winds and 15 feet waves to reach a Dutch ice breaker in trouble off the Dorset coast. The five-man crew of the 90-ton Vorwarts sent a mayday call to coastguards when they suffered an engine failure five miles offshore." She was towed to Poole for repairs and resumed her voyage on 11.11.1991.
On 16.12.1991 Lloyd's Shipping Index states that she had left Amsterdam for Piraeus on 29.10.1991. (and had possibly been last seen at La Coruna on 23.11.1991.)
