|A view of the iron ore and crude oil terminals at Saldanha Bay on the South African west coast.
Saldanha is the largest natural harbour on the African continent and is the countries main iron ore export harbour.
Originally primarily a fishing harbour and the hub of the South African pelagic fishing industry (incidentally pioneered by my great- grandfather and a mr Silverman.
In the foreground one can see signs of a new industry that thas been established here, namely oyster and mussel farming.
