Hi, can anyone assist with the identification of the freighter on the left side, please?

Photo taken off Haifa, Israel in either 1965 or 1966 by Captain Mike Dale.

The Hunt Class destroyer, to the right side, is the former HMS Mendip, here seen as Israeli Naval ship 38כּ 'Haifa' (K38)

The freighter appears to be flying the red duster (British Merchant Naval flag), but this may be a red herring.
She was probably built as a steamer, has a counter stern, is of four island design, with five cargo holds and two large goalpost masts.
The funnel is pale blue with possibly a white anchor at 45° thereon.

There is an enlarged, but still indistinct, image here:

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Grays was a dead end... sisters built there all gone by the end of WW2....
However Société Navale de l'Ouest seemed to like that well deck layout and also the form of goalposts.... https://forum.pages14-18.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=45078&start=0

I think the red ensign is a red herring... Turkish maybe?
So maybe a french ( Dunkirk?) ship built for them

'Arauco' looks like a sister... (lower photo... the top one looks like a different ship) https://www.histarmar.com.ar/MarinaMercanteExtr/MarinaMercanteChile/0Mercantes-A-/Arauco-3.htm
She ended up Chilean flag and broken up in 1960...
I am thinking a sister built by Wm Gray, West Hartlepool, in about 1920.
