A real survivor, this one, still trading in 2020.
Built in 1975 for the account of L.R. Johansen, the JORAVN was delivered as an asphalt tanker but within four years converted to a chemical tanker. She was built by the Ankerlokken Glommen (#188) and delivered in October 1975.
In 1979 she was sold to Stener Muller, and renamed Lido. Five years later she was sold to AB Ektank and renamed EK-SKY, shown here passing Rozenburg, mid eighties.
In 1998 she moved to the western hemisphere as the PETROLIA DESGAGNES as which she traded for 11 more years.
In 2011 she was renamed DON FELIX I, operating under the Panamian flag.
In 2018 she was transferred to the flag of the great maritime nation of Togo and renamed NORTH STAR. In 2020 she adopted the name TRAM OIL II.
