Now that you've mentioned it, there are lots of projects along Korean coasts where they want to make dry land from the sea (land reclamation), but I'm not sure I've never seen sand mining operations (or I just didn't know what to look for)...

Seems like she can only discharge herself with that traveling digger to a some hopper ashore, for example - not very efficient if she was a dedicated dredger.

Maybe she's used not for dredging but for sand mining sorta? The rolled flexible pipe seems too long & the suction tip doesn't look like on normal dredgers that drag it over the bottom.
