Early days, but its a start with a 99% reduction in sulphur dioxide, an 85% reduction in nitrogen dioxide and 20% less CO2 compared to fuel oil is a welcome start. LNG container ship costs $5million extra at new build but around $10 to fit scrubbers. Basic economics.
Limitation at the moment lack of re-fuelling facilities. Any LNG bunkering in UK?

They are not that ecologically friendly, she bunkered with traditional oil fuel at Southampton....but the publicity looks good.

I know that they are trying to advertise the new propulsion system and it's ecological features... but I so loved their blue hulls!!!!
