German tanker SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN was delivered 1975 from Howaldtswerke - Deutsche Werft, Kiel for Trave Schiffahrt Gmbh, a company managed by Egon Oldendorff of Lübeck.
The vessel was of 240800 t.dw, and was one of many similar vessels built by the yard for various owners. On the photo she is anchored off Dubai in august 1977.
In 1983 she was sold and renamed ENERGY RENOWN, and in 1991 she became NEW RENOWN.
Reported as total loss in June 2001; I have not found out how she became a loss.
