The Curtis Bay Towing Company of Pennsylvania tug REEDY POINT, underway on the Delaware River, passing under the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Philadelphia, PA on June 30, 1969. The tug was built in Norfolk, VA in 1958 and worked steadily on the River for 41 years. Her long career came to an end when she sank while docking a ship in Camden, NJ on April 12, 1999. She was raised and towed to Port Newark, NJ where she was scrapped.
