Location:Bremerhaven, Germany
Photo Category: Reefers in support of fishing vessels at sea
One of my older photos when digital cameras didnít exist. Soviet fish factory berthed in Bremerhaven fishery port in the 90ies. Usually they came from their Russian building yard to install Baader fish fabricating machines in Bremerhaven. Unfortunately I canít get any informations about the vessel's later life. Even Russian Shipping Register doesnít give information when I log in the name. I know about three sister vessels which were built since 1990: KAMCHATSKIY SHELF, ALEKSEY KOSONOGOV and PRIMORETS. They all came to Bremerhaven to receive Baader machines. Any information about these vessels is highly appreciated.

The IMO No. is 8856998.
According to the RS, she had her keel laid on 15.11.89, and was completed on 1.4.93.
I saw her at Bremerhaven on 30.7.92 some 8 months before her official completion date.

Tauyskiy Shelf (93) 603 In Service
Zaliv Vostok (92) 604 In Service
Primorets (93) 605

The Zaliv Vostok was reported to be working around the South Kuril islands earlier this autumn, processing / canning (Pacific) Saury.
