Description:

This is a special fishing vessel built by Rickmerswerft Bremerhaven in 1966. After her launch she capsized and was salvaged by Bugsier salvage vessels ENERGIE and AUSDAUER (built by AG Weser, Seebeckwerft) some weeks later. She was put in service as SEYDISFJORD. Later renamed SAARBRÜCKEN. When she reached the end of her career the owners offered her for to be kept as a floating museum in Bremerhaven. But nobody wanted her. So she went to the breakers at Aliaga for scrap. She was the last German built fishing vessel of that decade. Photo taken in the fishery port of Cuxhaven at the end of her career…
