The midship and stern sections of the future HMCS MAX BERNAYS AOPV-432 were moved out of the assembly hall of Halifax Shipyards during the weekend of 23/24 January 2021 to be welded together. The bow section will be rolled out later this year. The plan is to launch the ship and deliver it to the navy in 2022. The MAX BERNAYS is the third ship of a class of six Artic Offshore Patrol Vessels being built by Halifax Shipyard for the Royal Canadian Navy.
