It`s off Wedel, shortly before Blankenese, behind the stern is a typical Elbe sailboat, a Jugendwanderkutter.

The date is between May 1954 and December 1955 when she changed her funnel colours to Poseidon`s.
The courtesy flag is the Canadian Red Ensign (1921-57) to show interested people ashore where this ship is trading.
A tradition in Hamburg which some folks on this site found hard to believe, we went through this discussion before.
