After some research, I can say with some certainty that this is definitely not the ARCTIC RAIDER.
It is in fact her sister ship, the ARCTIC PRIVATEER in the guise of G.A.REAY A147.
The Arctic Privateer was purchased by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF)to replace the Sir William Hardy. She was used by them for research into handling, storage and processing at sea.
The MAFF purchased her from Boyd Line of Hull in March 1974 and after an 18 month refit she became the G.A.REAY - being named after the head scientist at the Torry Research Centre at Aberdeen.
In 1987 she was sold on to J.Marr & Sons and became the FALKLANDS RIGHT. She was renamed once again 1987 and became the EASTELLA. In 1991 she became the FALKLANDS PROTECTOR. She was then sold in 1993 to Aquanymph Navigation Co. of South Africa and is presumed to be still in service as the AQUANYMPH.
