Thank You **csaba** . I think so too . It is a waste of time for humorous arguments with people who are so convinced that they do not allow any point of view other than their own .
With regards.
Waldemar

@WUKA54....In regards to wind power, etc., current roto sail technology is a redesign of a century old invention by Anton Flettner. At the time (1920's) the technology was not widely used due to rising popularity and low cost of diesel fuel. (Source www)
Based on the science and material available on the internet, todays roto sail technology has resulted in improved overall vessel efficiency.

WUKA, I think you should tone it down a bit

Who is this interview for ? For Greens and the European Commision ? OKAY . Let me say 100 percent fuel savings expected...as long as the vessel is moored on permanent at the quay. If the wind power is really so effective , let's go back to the old , proven designs of sailing ships. In addition , we will solve the problem of unemployment in the EU countries. Sailing ships need hands to work .Moreover ... The sailing ships are beautiful , unlike the monster from the photo ...

Fuel savings of 8.2% claimed.

From a fuel and environmental point of view, if rotor sails were installed on every suitable vessel in the world fleet, the potential annual savings for ship owners would likely be substantial.......

...rather grotesque look ...I wonder how far designers will go in creating equally absurd designs .

Nice one, Hans! Looks like rotors slowly becoming an ordinary thing on ships now... just like scrubbers!
