Description:
This is the MV RIP. Used in Port Phillip bay for tending moorings etc.
The MV RIP was ex the HMAS Whyalla. Minelayer and Corvette and is now currently out of the water and back in her navy paint at the township of Whyalla.
Photo was taken in 1982 from Wilson's Promontory Lightstation.
