SNCM's 1984 Le Havre built ferry MONTE CINTO is seen arriving at Marseille exactly twenty years ago today, on 18th March 2001.
SNCM (Société Nationale Maritime Corse Méditerranée) was jointly owned by Compagnie Générale Maritime and Société Nouvelle d'Armement Transmanche (formerly SNCF). SNCM was privatised in 2006 and rebranded as Maritima Ferries in 2016.
