Description:

Circa mid August 1975, bunkering at Khor al Amaya, Iraq, while at anchor.

(The Iraqi bunkering vessel was 'Al Tameem' IMO 7236907 of Basrah.
Built 1972 in Japan. 12,125 dwt.)


Completed in October 1969 by Kawasaki heavy Industries, Sakaide, Japan (1105)
105,138 g.t. and 209,805 dwt., as:
'Melo' to 1976,
'World Recovery' to 1976, and
'Selefkia' until sold to Taiwan for demolition.

Arrived at Kaohsiung on 20/05/1980, work commenced on 03/06/1980.
