Circa mid August 1975, bunkering at Khor al Amaya, Iraq, while at anchor.

(The Iraqi bunkering vessel was 'Al Tameem' IMO 7236907 of Basrah.
Built 1972 in Japan. 12,125 dwt.)


Completed in October 1969 by Kawasaki heavy Industries, Sakaide, Japan (1105)
105,138 g.t. and 209,805 dwt., as:
'Melo' to 1976,
'World Recovery' to 1976, and
'Selefkia' until sold to Taiwan for demolition.

Arrived at Kaohsiung on 20/05/1980, work commenced on 03/06/1980.

Good morning Pieter, I was going to send you a message to 'look at this' image, due to your interest in 'Joey' IMO 7236907, but then I knew you would scan all new posted tankers anyway ;-)
