| MOORSMAN was built 1975 by Dredge & Marine Ltd, Ponsharden Shipyard, Penryn (Yard No.S68) for United Towage (Salvage) Ltd, Hull. Sold 1/1991 to VPJ Ltd (Euch Zammit & Sons Ltd), Valletta; it left Hull in 2/19991 for Malta. |

Bob, was she actually built as a commercial vessel in 1975 or is she ex-Admiralty (British) ?

Yes ,the one on the left is the GOLD DREDGER ,though who came up with that name must have a fertile mind as there is no gold to dredge up in Malta... the crew must have suffered some cynical jokes about their vessel name.

| The vessel at the left of the "unknown" is GOLD DREDGER and is (or was) on sale at Malta. There seems to word (name?) on the aft structure of the mysterious one. It would help if we were able to have all the letters painted on the side. |
