German semi-containervessel CORINNA DRESCHER is here seen upon arrival at Philadelphia in july 1980.
She was built 1978 at Schichau Unterweser in Bremerhaven, and was of 10300 t.dw. From 1979 to 1980 she had a short spell under chartername LLOYD BALTIMORE, before reverting to CORINNA DRESCHER again.
In 1981 she got another chartername; ELMA TRES, but this did not last long. In november 1981 she hit bad weather in the vincinity of Bermuda, and sank with the loss of 23 out of 24 crewmembers. She was then on voyage from Buenos Aires to US East Coast
