That's correct Mike, a wet day if I remember.
Can't recall a tug called Robin Clive but there were a few preserved tug around that day. There is a preserved coaster called Robin that belonged to the Maritime Trust in those days, now on a pontoon in the Royal Victoria dock.

Oh my word..... I had almost forgotten about this event. How could I have done so when I was there and on board a 'preserved' tug. Could it have been named Robin?

The event was the departure of the Tall Ships from London - many tugs were out and about as floating grandstands.
