Description:
J.Lauritzen of Denmark's 1961 Aalborg built NELLA DAN (which was launched as JETTA DAN) is seen passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam on 1st June 1972 at the end of a voyage from Constantza.
On 3rd December 1987 NELLA DAN was sadly wrecked on Macquarie Island, an oceanic island in the Southern Ocean, lying 1,500 km south-east of Tasmania, suffering a fire and sinking on 24th December 1987.
