Hi, Gerolf, thank you very much for adding this one!

M/s "Krynica" started the B-55 series, the first entirely welded and first motor ships from Szczecin Shipyard.
Most of them were equipped with MAN engines, later also from other makers and finally domestic prototype D55.
Altogether 15 such general cargo ships were built for Poland and Brazil, starting with batch of three:

B55/I/1 KRYNICA, IMO 5197195, 1958, for Polish Ocean Lines;
http://www.shipspotting.com/ships/ship.php?imo=5197195

B55/I/2 POLANICA, IMO 5280605, 1958, for Polish Ocean Lines;

B55/I/3 OLEŚNICA, IMO 5262316, 1959, for Polish Ocean Lines;

Next four ships, with rearranged superstructure layout, were built for Brasil (part of the payment was coffee, by the way):

B55/IV/4 CABO ORANGE, IMO 5056872, 1959, for Lloyd Brasileiro;

B55/IV/5 CABO FRIO, IMO 5056810, 1959, for Lloyd Brasileiro;

B55/IV/6 CABO DE SAO ROQUE, IMO 5056755, 1959, for Lloyd Brasileiro;

B55/IV/7 CABO DE SANTA MARTA, IMO 5056743, 1959, for Lloyd Brasileiro;

Last batch repeated the initial superstructure layout, however without accommodation around Hold No.5 hatch.
Some of them had more complicated ownership story - being built for Polish Ocean Lines (PLO), chartered by
Polish Steamship Company (PŻM), later transferred to PŻM and finally came back to PLO. They were:
