Her newname is : PRINCESS MARIAM

Looks like the rename is genuine Barry - now off Tripoli (Lebanon) and showing Sierra Leone as flag.

Hi Patrick. This is what I got from Vesseltracker.com

The 'Altenavi', en route from Kherson to Iskenderun, suffered an engine failure south of Alanya in position 35 58 30N, 032 11 30E, on July 21 ,2021. Repairs were started by the crew, and as of July 23 the ship was adrift in pos. 35° 56.40' N 031° 43.92' E.

As well as the name change it seems she's now registered in Sierra Leone. All very strange.

Hi Barry - yes still watching but suspect the name change is a MarineTraffic error as it placed her off China at the same time. I wasn't aware of the engine failure - where did you get that info?

If you're still following this old lady Patrick you'll see that she's at Iskenderun anchorage in Turkey. She has evidently changed her name to Princess Mariam and is reported to have recently suffered an engine failure and a period adrift.

Hi Barry - I've been following her on MT since she left Hull with I believe a cargo of scrap metal. I did wonder if my photos would be the last of her but, as you say, there's still life in her. I'd be surprised if we see her back in the UK though.

Hi Patrick. I was thinking how lucky we were to catch this old girl on her last voyage before heading to the breakers. She did indeed set sail from Hull towards Aliaga but she spent a few days in the port of Nemrut just south of Aliaga from where she sailed for Kherson in Ukraine where she is arriving today. So perhaps there's life in the old girl yet! Strangely her voyage history on Vessel Finder shows her sailing directly from Ellesmere Port to Nemrut without the Hull call. Best regards. Barry
