The decommissioned submarine U 17 (S196) is earmarked as museum ship and will be part of the collection at Technik Museum Sinsheim in southern Germany. Tugs involved for delivery to Thyssen Krupp Marine Systems at Kiel were BÜLK (IMO 8701284) and STEIN (IMO 9241243) from Schlepp- und Fährgesellschaft (SFK).
