3 shelters in Montenegro? Then I will have to up my count of ex-Yugoslav Navy shelters in the Adriatic to 15. :)
I've never been to Montenegro, but I did visit some of other shelters in Croatia, back when they were still operational. I remember an occasion when I waved my (empty) assault rifle at some clueless tourists that hapenned to stumble upon "my" shelter on the island of Dugi Otok...

Cheers

Thanks people. This is one of the three underground vessel shelters of the ex Yugoslav Navy in the Bay of Boka Kotorska. This one is called Špiljice and is situated on the opposite side of the bay from the Portonovi resort in Kumbor, near the city of Herceg Novi. It is approximately 100 meter long and about 10 meter wide, with the ceiling of the shelter about 15 meter high from the sea level. There is also another shelter just like this, called Rakite nearby. and there is one even bigger- designed for sheltering the submarines, futher down the Luštica peninsula coast near the village of Rose.

Jim, this shelter is in Montenegro, rather far away from Rijeka.

There are 14 ex-Yugoslav Navy underground shelters in the Adriatic (now in Croatia and Montenegro), and none are used for their original purpose, even as they're probably still considered "classified" (in the age of Google Maps!). This small tug is the ex-navy port tug LR-66, built in Rijeka in 1951.
