Chinese heavy lift ship Da Liang arriving at Bluff. She was one of a number of Chinese heavy lift ships that, having delivered project cargoes to Australia, crossed the Tasman to load logs for their northbound voyage. She had 2 x 350 tonne cranes and 1 x 100 tonnes. Bow to bridge distance is 15 metres presenting special pilotage challenges.
