From what I heard there was a guy living on it who filled it up with junk he had collected.I seen video of it sinking and you can see it was full of junk.

Tonight’s news story is “could she have been saved”. Volunteers were trying to save her. I guess time will tell.

End of Baragoola.
The 99-year old ex Manly Ferry began taking on water at its mooring beside the Coal Loader at Balls Head Reserve at about 10.30pm on Saturday January 1 and sank.

Thank you Paul. The golden days of Manly ferries. In future they will be gone (freshwater class) and we will have Emerald class twin hulled small ferries. Cheers
