i think they were 13 sisters built DDR from 1971.

Hi Pieter,
since this kind of cargo gear arrangement was only used with the type 17B the number of possible ships reducesto 14. I agree with you, the "Farhabilah" is a good guess.

Based on the scrapping information for all the other 21 ships, which seems to be firm, the only one that never was officially reported for scrap is the Dimitriy Ulyanov, (7020504) which was deleted from the registers in 1994 as FARHABILAH. It would be to most likely candidate to become SADEGH and to then disappear somewhere. This photo adds a piece of history to this ship

@SteKrubeBe, we can at least reduce the number to 22, as the twelve first units were not fitted with the Stülcken type derrick. (Type 17B)

A Type 17 built at Warnowwerft in Warnemünde. But i don't know which of those 34 units?
