Description:

Another example of a fake IMO number (8528864, marked on her hull), chemical tanker "Shun Fa" spotted at Busan anchorage where she's being detained by the South Korean authorities.

https://www.nknews.org/2021/08/south-korea-detaining-north-korea-linked-ship-suspected-of-sanctions-violations/

I expect she'll eventually be broken up, just like the "Talent Ace" before her:

The problem, of course, is her crew, not able to go home until this matter is resolved, suffering for something outside of their powers.

And, her original IMO number (in case somebody wants to know) is 9191773.

The KINGSWAY (IMO 9191773), sanctioned by the UN Security Council (UNSC) for engaging in a ship-to-ship transfer with a North Korean tanker, laundered its identity into the APEX/SHUN FA (IMO 8528864) in late 2018.

8528864 belongs to a ship originally built also in 1998, but as QING HAI 2, later ZHE SHENG 26, then UNI WEALTH and the latest name in my files is APEX. This name also comes up in the article as being used by the ship here. Marine Traffic has two recent shots of her, where she is clearly the same ship as in your photo. However, shots of the Golden Yuki, later Billions no.18, the bearer of the identity described as 9191773 also has quite a similar appearance. (The spark catcher is less prominent).
I have no info on the building yard of the QING HAI 2, which I suppose is Chinese. The types of small tankers coming from Chinese yards in those days is definitely not what is shown here.

So what happened to UNI WEALTH?

And again. somebody in the UK might have allowed the use of an illegal IMO number, without properly checking.
