Description:
I took this pic from the signal bridge of the USNS Sirius T-AFS 8 looking aft during a storm we encountered in transit from Rota, Spain to Norfolk, VA. USNS Sirius had been diverted to search for survivors of a German tanker that had sunk in the storm. (We did not find any survivors). This was the end of the USNS Sirius' first Med Cruise.
