BHP=375 and nozzle prop. so taking best figure from andrecas approx 5.5 tonne bollard pull.

@ MattB.... Given it's a logging tug, the bollard pull can't be much compared to a harbour duty tug....?
After briefly rummaging online I noticed there are formulas for converting propeller power (SHP)
vs (BHP) to bollard pull. I.E... one ton pull per 100 horsepower for a conventional propeller, or 1.2 to 1.5 tons pull per 100 horsepower for a propeller fitted with a nozzle.
Whatever variables there are, including propeller type, etc., would determine bollard pull.
I'm sure there are members who can provide a more knowledgeable response.
Math was never a strong point for me.... :)

That's a rinky dink little tug, almost cute by today's standards ! I wonder what the bollard pull is on that?
