DOLE AMERICA (1994 / 10,584 GT) arriving in Southampton following a collision with the Nab Tower in the Solent shortly after sailing from Portsmouth on 07-11-99. The vessel was deliberately grounded on a sandbank to avoid sinking before being towed to Southampton with the assistance of TAKLIFT 3 and various tugs.
