Nice picture Marie-Anne...

on her bow and stern is :KRAFTCA !!!
Let's leave it to that; maybe the painter(!) was wrong...(so we accuse him/her)

kind regards
Geert(Zappa)

Thanks Geert!
And you are right!
What's in a name if you see that some ships get new names pretty often!

What a stern. Nice picture, Marie-Anne. Unfortunately I haven´t seen her at Kiel-Canal until now. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marie Anne,

It's all in the name, but never mind, it's a very nice picture of a ship from my favorite shipping company, Spliethoff ( I know she is white and not brown, but she still has Amsterdan on her rear)

As far as I remeber the name was always Kraftaca, and this name was always paint on her bow.
Kraktka it's only Equasis error and this its not ex-name.

As i said Equasis made some mistakes before.

Meybe it's good for us to notice it goes wrong sometimes.

Marie-Anne

The recording by Equasis of 'Kraftka' as a former name for this ship is, I think, incorrect.
Spliethoffs have used names ending in '-ca' in the past, but never '-ka'. This would tend to be supported by her registered owner's name being 'Kraftca'.
I would suggest that the use of the name 'Kraftka' was an error on Equasis' part, and that a later correction to their database causes the 'former' name to be recorded, but erroneously.

You could be very right. Equasis make more mistakes.

Thanks for your reaction.
