Very strange ferry seen in Tema port.2001
This is the former Swedish ferry PRIMULA, IMO 5284625 (Linjebus International, Helsingborg - Helsingor route, 1960-1976), after that Dutch NOORD-NEDERLAND (Rederij Doeksen, Terschelling - Harlingen route, 1976-1990), EUNICE OF ECOWAS (Atlantic Feries, Lagos, Nigeria, 1990-1996), EL SHADDAI (Redfern Ferries, Lagos, Nigeria, bought in 1996). She was renamed at an unknown date BY EL-SHADDAI. Engines broken down in January 2004 en route to Monrovia, Liberia, with 225 refugees. I have nothing heard of her after this fateful event. Information would be very welcome!
