Description:
Former Soviet, Whiskey class submarine S-194, and former Swedish museum submarine U-194 passing Swinoujscie, outboud from Szczecin. She was sold to Thailand and will be exposed at Jesada Technik Museum. After repair in Szczecin (by Gryfia Shipyard) she was towed to Sweden, and next to Thailand, via Cape Good Hope.

Unfortunately, sank 5th February, about 50 kilometers west of Thyborøn, Denmark

In my opinion that idea to tow the submarine to Thailand was stupid at the beginning.

This U-boat did not get far :-? It sank about 50 kilometres west of Thyborøn, Denmark. According to Danish authorities the owners intend to raise the boat as soon as possible.
