Description:

I wonder if anyone can help with the history of this Guernsey registered coaster which I photographed in 1987 at Selby in Yorkshire whilst waiting my train connection to Hull for North Sea Ferries to Europoort. Time well spent!

Launched 30 August 1954 at Westerbroek by E. J. Smit & Zoon Scheeps. as hull no. 733 for H. Schothorst, Groningen. 46m x 8.21 x 3.36; 475 gt, 287 nt; 6 cylinder Appingdammer Brons Diesel, 290mm x 450, 395-bhp.

Later *Carrick* (1980). Broken up at Sittingbourne, 1988.

length .Owner Fiedfalcon ltd, she became CARRICK in 1980.Prob. scrapped beg 90s.
