The wreck of the Sygna, Stockton Beach, Newcastle NSW Australia. This photo was taken circa 1979 (she was wrecked in a cyclone 1974?). I was Apprentice on another ship at drydock - me and shipmate swam out to the wreck to explore the hulk. We almost drowned in a rip trying to get back to the bech after leaping of the stern. Pulled from the surf by local fisherman. Accomodation has been further broken down using a flying fox.
