That depends, really. Much of the hull will be bent and warped due to the heat. If the engine room burned as well, then I think we can write her off.

Having said that, I read a few days ago that the owners have not yet taken a decision regarding the future of the vessel, so maybe she's not as wrecked as we think.

By the way, the owners are having a stroke of bad luck lately. Their warehouse and offices in Scheveningen (not far from where I live) also burned down completely last year.

Sad to see. Really sad.

I would have thought that it would be worth repairing. It's not like she sunk or anything which would inidcate that the damage is not as bad as it could have been. I would guess she just needs a good refit and she'll be back to being as good as new.

I think it must be considered a total loss
Fire raged from forward to aft destroying
it completely :-( . the only two things left complete
are the lifeboats they seemed to be intact :-) .
