Hi,
Maybe a stupid question, but why is this vessel's trim so deep forward? Was there some flooing inside?

The Finnur Fridi has 2550 cubic Meters of tanks,50 more than the Altaire. The Altaire landed 2100 tonnes of mackerel this week so this boat must have something similar. It makes me cry when I think how much money these guys are making :-o

Well, this is really a fully loaded ship! Probably not a very "according to the rules" loading, but well, the fish is there! It is probably different than the requirements for cargo vessels? I really thought the ship had had problems!
Thanks,
Bye

Hi
A pelagic vessel loaded like this have definetely no stability problems..The GM often raise the more you load the vessel and the GZ max will not occure until large heelings.
As lang as doors and hatches are kept closed those large new vessels can be considered as seaworthy...

Ole..
