Hi ,

Sorry to bother you. But I'm currently researching the B-54 Lineage of ships . Any info would be more than welcome , ie engine type and builder , possible availability of any plans .
So far I've managed to locate all the units of the B-50 , B54 , B55 , B41 , B445 and B446 .
Why ?
My father was a Messageries Maritimes Officer and in 1973 I breakfasted on Moroni ( ex-Langon- B41/II) . I've always admired these ships in particular .
Discovering that in 1974 , Poland sub-contracted ships in Portugal( Lisnave) , and Spain somewhat surprised me .
My overall impression is that the ships had a common hull with the B-54.
As for the other types , the B446 type interests me because I saw one in 1972 in Bremerhaven , and the shape of her superstructure has remained in my memory ever since.
As for the B445 , I was invited to dine on Courson , in Antwerp , on one of her last trips, back in 1981 .
Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards .

J.P.B.
