I am a bit doubtful about about whether she ever traded for "Harbour & Port General Services Ltd", Gibraltar. But was certainly earlier active with General Port Services (GPS) and converted by them to a cement carrier.
See http://www.marine-marchande.net/Collection%20Le%20Mens/LeMens16/GPS.htm

For some years she has been laid up at Brentford, though no signs of any real houseboat conversion. In April 2009 she was still clearly marked "GPS". I'll put a couple of photos in Wrecks & Relics (though the standards police probably may not leave them there long). I was there a couple of weeks ago - there is little change in her state, except that the GPS markings seem to have been deliberately removed.

Brilliant to see this one Derek, and amazing to hear that she is still around!
Just look at that 'old stylee' anchor she carries, I bet that wasn't even new when she was built but more likely salvaged from an old sailing barge. Great stuff indeed.

John J.

Glad you enjoyed this oldie John.
Yes indeed looks like the anchor was from another age. Plenty more oldies still to come when I have time
