Hi The vessel on this photo is the Lara. Originally delivered from Kieler Howaldtswerke to Norwegian Shipowner Oivind Lorentzen, Oslo, and sailed as "Nopal Trader" under Norwegian flag 1956-74 in the company's Northern Pan-America Line (Nopal Line) between US Gulf ports and Venezuela-Brazil-Uruguay-Argentina. A roundtrip from New Orleans to Buenos Aires and back took approx. 2 months. Midship were accomodations for 12 passengers. The line was operated by 5 ships of similar size and type. Due to increasing flag discrimination and rising costs of operation of this type of vessels under Norwegian flag, the 5 ships were sold to foreign owners in the period 1974-77, and the line finally closed down 1979.
Regards, Oldsparky

At that location there are 2 different ships, the Loullia (or is it Lara?) and the bow of a second wreck ship. I was told that the second wreck is the Nopa trader, but I am not sure
Anyone knows?
