Description:

-IMO#9259317- seen off Sandwich,MA over half way through 3 lighterings of 6 Oil,4-7-07. She discharged into Energy 11104. The first load went to Chelsea,MA, and the next two to the ESCO plant in Sandwich,MA. The reason for the lighterings is that Fedor had too much 'air draft' to pass under the bridges in the Cape Cod Canal after discharging at the plant. The Army corps werent too comfortable having a panamax turn around in the middle of the canal. Though the largest tanker I have seen at this berth is the 100,000 dwt aframax OBO Genmar Challenger, so this was a rare occurence that lasted almost 2 weeks.
