Description:
Research vessel James Clark Ross coming into Stornoway on 1 July 2006. She stayed for several days, whilst taking cargo on board for the next mission, involving a Remotely-Operated Vehicle. After leaving Stornoway, she was at work off Chicken Head, 7 miles east of the port, when a crewmember sliced off a finger in an industrial accident on board. He was flown to hospital in Stornoway.
