Was she going through the canal ?

There were two fishing boats moored there, Peter M and Coral Strand II, both registered in Peel. They will probably continue on their way in the morning. They were facing East but that might not be significant.

The canal closes down overnight so quite common for boats to stop overnight then head off in the morning.

HI JMB
Thanks for the answer
Last week I drove from Inverness to Fort William and further SW, but I was not that lucky to see any vessels this size go through.

Ole..

Quite often the Lord of the Glens is somewhere in the system.

There are two or three barges also on the canal (and one that is moored as floating pub.

You don't see much of the canal in Fort William itself, you have to go across to Banavie or Corpach. There are about three boats moored at Corpach long term -

Loyal Mediator.

We have one interesting one to see in Fort William too!
