Thanks for that information 'dedge', she certainly had that 'BHP' 1940's look about her but wasn't sure of her original name. Cheers...Bill

Completed in 1947 by Broken Hill Proprietary, Whyalla, as the "Barrigun" for the Australian Shipping Board. 4,054 grt, 6,312 dwt, triple expansion with exhaust turbine, coal fired boilers. 1948 to McIlwraith, McEacharn, 1949 renamed "Koorawatha". 1964 sold San Fernando SS Co (John Manners) renamed "Visaya Regidor", converted to oil fuel. 1968 renamed "Holly Trader", 1973 "Union Industry", 1974 broken up at Kaohsiung.
