Look up Ben Strome SN85 she fished out of North Shields for many years

Yes, indeed a sad sight....thinking of those vessels making fishing trips in the rough north atlantic waters years ago...now ending up as wrecks after a second life as stand by / guard vessels..Does anybody know their history ?

They are the Grampian Dawn & Grampian Princess. They are still there now.
