Nice work Ken, the dark clouds and the white on the ship makes for a good contrast, you pulled it off again, you are a pro at this.

Hi Kent, thanks again for you kind words, yes I have to admit I was doubtful about the clouds but as you say they added to the shot.

Nice set of photos Ken. I had people telling me "Have you seen the car carrier down at Greenwich"...never got the chance to get down there today though.

I was out on a lunch cruise to canary wharf and back sadly.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your comment, she wasn't listed at all, pure luck I found she was at Greenwich, she sailed at 19-00 tonight.
I got some of your favourite as well, will post them tomorrow.

Ken

Hi Ken,

A great shot, but I wonder what the ceremony was all about. She's six months old, so not brand new and one assumes that she had a naming ceremony before she started trading in 2006. Strange!!

Cobelfet have several more new ships in the pipeline but the first not until next year and the last in 2011! I wonder if they'll be given the same treatment.

Hi Phil,

My thoughts exactly, as you say she is not brand new and as far as I know not scheduled for the Thames, it was all rather hush hush, she wasn't listed at all and it was pure chance I knew she was there, worth the trip to catch her though.

Ken

Great Picture Ken, the weather looks to be pretty dicey.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your comment, there wasn't a great deal of sun today but the rain held off until later in the day.
I was very lucky to catch her, she left Greenwich
at 19-00 but I have no idea where she is going, she hasn't been listed all day.

Ken

Hi Ken

Nice looking ship - very threatening skies though, hope the ceremony wasn't rained on

Hi Steve

Thanks for your comment, just a few spots that's all, I guess it was one of those days, all went according to plan.
