Metis did not become a cement carrier until 1966, there were other cement carriers before her, I can't name them all but there were many,Canada Cement ships,Cement Karier 1930, Bulkarier 1929, and a few American cement carriers as well, Metis was far from being the one of the first cement carriers, just thought I would help you out here. :-)
